GVU at E-learning Africa
E-Learning Africa, this year hosted by Ghana was held in Accra, May 28-30. Said to be, ‘a landmark in pan-African capacity building for ICT enhanced education and training,’ the conference will fall under the Patronage of Ghanaian Minister for Education, Science and Sports, the Hon. Prof. Dominic K. Fobih.

Holistic Foundations for Assessment and Regulation of Genetic Engineering and Genetically Modified Organisms is a course developed in collaboration between the institute and UNU-GVU.

Completion report for the five-year pilot programme of the UNU-GVU
The UNU-GVU has delivered tangible results during the pilot phase of the joint programme. The Board of the UNU-GVU has recommended that the initiative be further developed into a UNU Research and Training Programme (RTP). A Concept Paper outlining this recommendation was presented to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in May 2007 and endorsed by all the organizations that are represented in the Board of UNU-GVU.
