Dear All,
E-LEARNING WORKSHOP AT UNIVERSITY OF MALAWI
I take this opportunity to extend on behalf of Chancellor College in particular and University of Malawi in general our appreciation for the E-learning workshop conducted by your staff, namely Harald Holt and Aake Bjorke.
The workshop attracted 35 participants from the University of Malawi and other tertiary institutions.  The workshop was useful in providing new knowledge and skills for curriculum reform incorporating current pedagogical approaches using modern learning management systems.  For this, we are grateful to the UNU-GVU Board and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for making it possible for the 2 officers to come and facilitate the workshop in Malawi.
We are encouraged through the interaction we have had during the workshop to continue collaborating with UNU-GVU so that University of Malawi can enhance efficiency in training as well as improve quality of education in Malawi.  We feel that the collaboration will include capacity building for staff in Masters and PhD programs.  We are particularly pleased that this collaboration will help us achieve the objectives of the United Nations decade for Education for Sustainable Development and beyond.
Yours Sincerely,
Dr. E. Fabiano
